Our Live Oak Tree Availability

All of our Live Oak Trees were planted to grow in our nursery from about 2' tall, are annually root pruned and weak branches removed as they grow. Our 8"-11"caliper Live Oak trees are 26'-35' tall when we dig them for sale and were selected at 4" caliper and given room to become a Southern Pride very big tree. 

Annual root pruning and proper fertilization provides a deep root system which we harden off after the Live Oak tree is dug.  New and deep root growth is the sign that you've purchased the healthiest Live Oak tree possible. We also selective prune our Live Oaks to preserve the natural character of each individual tree. So a Live Oak from Southern Pride Tree Farm is stronger and looks more natural in the landscape.

Due to uncertain market conditions Southern Pride Tree Farm dug a limited number of Live Oak trees for on demand orders in 2010; the above Live Oaks are dug, hardened off and ready for delivery. Additional quantities are available with pre-orders by late October for late December 2010 delivery.
